Modalities & science

Advanced modalities, ranked by what the evidence actually supports.

Longevity, biohacking and anti-aging are crowded with claims. I separate mechanisms from outcomes, name the exact formulation or device, and flag the harms — so what makes it into your protocol has earned its place.

Regenerative · Musculoskeletal

Shockwave / acoustic pressure therapy

Evidence maturity

Focused acoustic waves delivered to bone, tendon and ligament to stimulate local blood flow, cellular signalling and remodelling. In my protocols it is used for targeted bone-density work and to accelerate tendon and ligament healing later in surgical recovery.

Effects are local to the treated area, which is exactly why it pairs well with a systemic program: nutrition and loading do the whole-body work; shockwave amplifies the signal where it matters most.

Regenerative · Systemic

Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy

Evidence maturity

Low-frequency electromagnetic pulses applied through a mat or coil to influence cellular signalling, circulation and tissue repair. I specify device class, intensity and session length rather than a brand name, because they are not interchangeable.

Used daily over months as a low-burden foundation for bone and soft-tissue programs, and for recovery between training sessions.

Photobiomodulation

Red light and near-infrared therapy

Evidence maturity

Red and near-infrared light absorbed by mitochondria, improving local blood flow and tissue healing. The evidence is strongest for soft-tissue and post-surgical recovery, skin and pain; weaker for bone density on its own.

I lend panels to clients before they buy, and I am specific about irradiance, distance and dose — most of what is sold is under-powered or over-promised.

Systemic · Recovery

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Evidence maturity

Breathing concentrated oxygen under pressure to increase tissue oxygenation and drive systemic healing effects. Protocols are defined by pressure, session length and total sessions, and coordinated with local providers.

Deployed when there is a clear healing target — surgical recovery, stubborn injury, complex fatigue — as part of a monitored plan rather than a standalone purchase.

Advanced therapeutics

Peptides, bioregulators and small molecules

Evidence maturity

Signalling molecules used in monthly cycles to support tissue repair, recovery, metabolic and longevity targets — from well-known repair peptides to organ-specific bioregulators and emerging longevity agents. I rank each compound by outcome data, sourcing quality and safety.

Everything is regulatory-aware, sourced from vetted suppliers, reviewed with your physician, and implemented hands-on: I walk you through reconstitution and administration in person for concierge clients.

Root cause · Testing

Functional medicine and advanced testing

Evidence maturity

A root-cause approach begins with the right data: comprehensive hormone panels, micronutrient status, gut and inflammatory markers, bone density and cardiometabolic risk. I help you decide which tests will change decisions and which are noise.

For concierge clients I introduce you to functional-medicine physicians I trust and coordinate the ordering, so you are not navigating specialists alone.

Nutrition · Supplementation

Nutraceuticals, done properly

Evidence maturity

Formulation is everything: the ingredient form, the dose used in the trials, the co-factors and the timing. My supplement protocols specify all four and are numbered so they are effortless to follow.

This standard is why NexGen Nutraceuticals exists — clinically studied, patented ingredients, pharmaceutical quality, third-party tested.

Performance · Longevity

Advanced athletic training protocols

Evidence maturity

Progressive, specific loading is still the most powerful longevity intervention available. Programs are periodized to your goal — bone, strength, physique, endurance — and to your equipment, injuries and calendar.

Sprint intervals for the time-poor, machine-first tracks for beginners, and full free-weights periodization for athletes. All of it evidence-ranked, none of it generic.

Evidence maturity is my qualitative read of the outcome literature for the use cases described, not a clinical rating. Modalities are educational information and are implemented with your licensed physician.
